OPAL: East Dunbartonshire Information Line

OPAL: East Dunbartonshire Information Line is a free information services for adults (16+) living in East Dunbartonshire. OPAL can connect you with local services, or help you find the information or support you need.

OPAL is a joint partnership between three local charities; Ceartas, Carers Link & East Dunbartonshire Citizen’s Advice Bureau.

When you call OPAL, you speak with an OPAL Adviser based at one of these organisations, who has great local knowledge and can often provide answers in the first instance, otherwise we ‘do the leg work’ and find out the answers to your questions.

You can contact OPAL about a range of topics including;

• Finance/benefits/housing advice
• Independent advocacy & information
• Volunteering/Befriending
• Carer support
• Tradespeople and private services
• Information about your local community
• Community response/support enquiries

OPAL is also responsible for managing the East Dunbartonshire Asset Map.
