    1. Accounts for our website are registered to individuals, and to organisations. We treat these sorts of accounts differently.
      1. As a member of the public, you may register an account, and this will be treated as Us processing Your personal information in accordance with all relevant data protection and privacy laws in the UK.
      2. As an organisation with a relevant interest in the aims of our website, and who wish to contribute to our website, we ask you to register an organisational email address and password to create an account. This is in order to limit the processing of personal data for people who work for other organisations.
    2. You as an individual, and as an organisation as detailed in section 5.1, are responsible for the security of your account with our website. You must:
      1. Create a strong and unique password consisting of at least eight characters, including at least one each of: upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers, special characters (eg @#~!$&*).
      2. Keep that password confidential, safe and secure (you may share account details between individuals within the organisation, but not with other individuals, or with organisations outwith the registered organisation).
    3. Notify us immediately in writing if you become aware that your account security has been compromised.
    4. You as an individual or as an organisation must not:
      1. Use another individualโ€™s or organisationโ€™s account with our website.
      2. Use your account credentials for our website to register with another website; or use pre-existing credentials from another website to register with our website (ie use the same password on another website).
    5. Disclose personal data about yourself or anyone else in the material you submit to our website.
    6. We reserve the right to force you to change your password, to limit access to your account, or to remove your account from our website.
  7. Directory.
    1. We publish a directory of community assets for the people of East Dunbartonshire, in the form of a searchable map, to promote health and wellbeing across the Local Authority area.
    2. For the purposes of our website a community asset is, but not limited to:
      1. A geographical place, location or route.
      2. A non-commercial organisation, service or charity with physical premises.
      3. A support or interest group which meets periodically.
      4. Exercise and sport activities
      5. Health Service and Local Authority / Health- and Social Work / Social Care services.
      6. Private health and wellbeing service providers who provide no other service.
    3. You may submit a draft page with details of a community asset for consideration and moderation. We reserve the right to:
      1. Reject your submission.
      2. Edit your submission.
      3. Contact the subject of your submission for the purposes of verification.
      4. Allocate authorship or ownership of your submission to another contributor (this is an administrative procedure โ€“ each contributor is responsible for editing and maintaining a number of pages. By allocating your submission to another contributor we are ensuring that it stays up-to-date).
    4. If you submit a draft page to our website, you must:
      1. Provide accurate information about the community asset.
      2. Provide an accurate location of the community asset.
      3. Provide opening times, or dates and times of meetings where appropriate.
      4. If you provide contact details for a community asset, this should be the organisationโ€™s contact details and not personal contact details.
    5. If you submit any material to our website, you must not:
      1. Include anyoneโ€™s personal data as part of your submission, including your own.
      2. Include photographs with anyoneโ€™s face as part of your submission.
      3. Include any discriminatory, defamatory or derogatory material as part of your submission.
      4. Make reference to unlawful activities, products or services, or make a submission with a view to conducting any unlawful activity or entering into an unlawful contract or arrangement.
  8. Our right to use your content.
    1. In these Terms of Use, โ€˜Your contentโ€™ means any and all material, including but not limited to text, images, files and their metadata, that you submit to our website.
    2. You grant us a license to store, adapt and reproduce your content on our website. Our website is accessible worldwide, and cached copies of the website may be available indefinitely, therefore this is a wide-reaching license.
    3. We will endeavour to protect the material you license to us from external misuse, as detailed in section 3.5, but you hereby waive your moral rights in your content to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law; and you warrant and represent that all other moral rights in your content have been waived to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
  9. Indemnity.
    1. We will regularly review the content of our website to ensure it is as accurate as possible; however the details of third-party organisations are subject to change without any requirement that the third party makes reference to us or our website.
    2. We present the information in our website to you in good faith, and having made reasonable efforts to ensure its accuracy; however we accept no liability for any inaccuracies in the information presented on our website.
    3. Most of the community assets presented on our website will provide an external hyperlink to the relevant web page for that community asset. We have no control over the content of external websites, and we accept no liability for the content of third-party websites.
    4. The purpose of our website is to provide you with information about, and links to, community assets in East Dunbartonshire. If you decide to engage with a third-party activity, organisation or company, that is a matter between you and the third party. We accept no liability for loss, damage or injury occasioned by you engaging with third parties.

    1. If we reasonably believe that you have breached the Terms of Use for our website, we reserve the right to limit your access to our website as noted in section 4.2.
