Short-term listening service for young people living in East Dunbartonshire aged 16 โ 25 years of age (26 years if care experienced) to manage their emotional distress and will provide onward referral if required to a more appropriate service.
Young people referred into the service will receive support to develop a plan of action to help alleviate feelings of distress. The service is operated by Glasgow Association for Mental Health (GAMH) on behalf of East Dunbartonshire Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP).
The CDRS service, will provide an immediate response within 24 hours from point of referral. The service will run 3pm – 10pm Monday to Friday, with out of hour referrals recorded and contacted the following day. Referrals can be made by Education, GP or other Primary Care Staff, Social Work Services, Police
