GCIL East Dunbartonshire is an independent Self Directed Support Service providing information and assistance to enable all eligible people to explore the 4 options for independent living outlined in the Social Care (Self-Directed Support) (Scotland) Act 2013, now in force.
We can support individuals at any stage: from initially finding out more about SDS, to asking for an assessment of their support needs through to which option of SDS is right for them. GCIL East Dunbartonshire aim is to promote independent living by helping people gain the information, skills and support to overcome barriers and make informed choices.
We are part of the greater GCIL community which is an organisation run by disabled people, working for and with disabled people. We are a registered charity and company limited by guarantee.
