St James offers a range of opportunities for older people to enjoy the company of others and celebrate their stories and rich histories.
The Tuesday Club meets at 2PM in the church hall to provide fellowship and activities for retired folk in our wider community. There is either a speaker on a topic of interest or table games and quizzes. There is always refreshment provided but sometimes a light lunch is served beforehand at 1PM. You can access the church from 11:30AM onward, with the group officially finishing at 4PM.
Every few months we organise trips. Recent places have included the Trossachs, the V&A Museum, Edinburgh and Burnsโ Cottage.
