Construction is underway on the new Allander Leisure Centre in Bearsden. It is forecast to be completed by the autumn of 2022.
The new Allander Leisure Centre plans include:
Eight-lane swimming pool and a 20m training pool with movable floor
Sauna and steam vitality room
Hydrotherapy pool
Gym and high & low intensity studios
State-of-the-art spin room
Eight-court games hall
Two squash courts
Wet and dry changing facilities

Following the completion of the new Leisure Centre and the demolition of the old one, the next phase of construction will be the ‘Sportsdrome’ – including two football pitches and a tennis court. This is forecast to be completed by Summer of 2023.
