Profile
Part of The Quiet Garden Movement and located to the rear of Bearsden Baptist Church you’ll find an amazing green space, open to the public and at the heart of Bearsden, just down from the cross.
“Our site includes formal gardens and woodland situated on a Roman Fort, which was built in 142 AD as one of the stations on the Antonine wall. We are opposite the remains of a Roman Bath House. Explore our grounds and signage to find out about its history. Our Roman Soldier woodcarving โMaximusโ keeps watch over the lower lawn.
Community groups, families and individuals enjoy the space, tranquillity and beauty of our gardens.”
